It's just a place for us to greet one another, talk about off topic stuff, etc. etc.

We're having a relatively small Thanksgiving this year. I am an only child and my father passed away this past summer, so this will be the first Thanksgiving without him. My husband came from a family of 8 kids. Thankfully, his parents have invited my mother to come celebrate Thanksgiving with their side of the family. Luckily, my mother came from a large family herself, so she's looking forward to it. We typically have 21 - 25 people for Thanksgiving. Christmas is another story. Everyone comes in for that. We will have approximately 40-45 people at Christmas! We have people upstairs, downstairs, out in the garage, etc. It was a shock to me the first Christmas I spent with my husband. I've finally gotten used to it. Everyone's loud and has a blast!

November 23 already? holy crap, I can't believe there is 4 days till Thanksgiving and 5 days till 'black Friday' I hope they have some good sales this year because my kids are now into the expensive electronic stuff and that all costs a small fortune. The Christmas sale has been going well so I think I am going to make it this year. Looking forward to being done shopping though and not much in the mood for putting up a tree.. bah...
Well I am off, Oh, Karen your family sounds wonderful I would love to have a place big enough to invite my entire family...sounds like a blast

The Holidays are coming so fast, I don't know where to start first! Thanksgiving - well, that's pretty much all set, but Christmas? It's going to be a tough one. I say Pizza all around!!!!!! And gifts? No one will commit to a list. Do they think I'm psychic or something????

Hi Everyone. I've been under a mountain of greenery, ornaments and wrapping paper. Today, I decided that "less is more" is my new holiday motto. LOL.

It seems like every year I put out fewer and fewer decorations. Why is that? Lazy? No, I am a busy person 24/7. Old? Well, I'm getting there quickly. LOL It just takes me twice as long to do half as much. :-)

I haven't scrapped in two weeks. Just haven't been in the mood. :-( Do any of you get that way?

So, how is everyones December going? I better get on the ball and start shopping one of these days! Is everyones plans on schedule? How's everybodys weather? We got a few inches of snow this weekend and tonight their calling for rain! I hope not, as things will get really icy out there!

It is snowing here today, but the wind is blowing all the flakes into Oklahoma! LOL.

I need to be working on my projects, but can't seem to get motivated. Just not in the mood to scrap.
